Mission

Fostering Growth exists to help children and families build the skills, confidence, and understanding they need to navigate everyday life together.

Vision

Fostering Growth strives to make meaningful, individualized support more accessible and naturally integrated into the lives of the people who need it.

Values

Independence

Building independence for children and confidence for the people who support them.

Independence grows as children develop the skills to communicate, make choices, solve problems, cope with challenges, and take an active role in their everyday lives. It also grows when parents and caregivers feel confident understanding their child and responding effectively across different situations. The goal is to build both, so children can do more for themselves and the people supporting them feel equipped to help them along the way.

Collaboration

The people who support a child every day are an essential part of their care.

Parents, family members, teachers, and other professionals bring important knowledge about a child and their everyday life. Effective support includes sharing knowledge, teaching practical skills, and developing strategies that the child’s support system can use consistently across everyday situations.

Individualization

Every child has their own way of learning, growing, and connecting with the world.

Every child and family has different strengths, priorities, circumstances, and challenges. Services are shaped around what matters to that particular child and family, with flexibility to adapt as their needs, interests, and goals change.

Meaningful Progress

Support is successful when it makes a meaningful difference in everyday life.

Progress looks different for every child and family. The focus is on building skills that make daily life easier, more connected, and more fulfilling. Whether that means communicating more effectively, participating in family routines, navigating challenges, building relationships, or becoming more independent.
